I’ve sprinkled references from my favorite childhood world throughout my life chapters below.
I hope you enjoy this magical journey as much as I did while crafting it!

Chapter 1
The Wand Chooses the Wizard
At an early age, I found myself drawn to design – not by accident, but by fate.
My father, a skilled graphic designer and my very first mentor, introduced me to the enchanting world of visuals. Under his guidance, I wasn’t just learning software or cutting-out images, I was unraveling the secrets of a powerful craft.
By the time I finished school, my path was already set. I knew I was destined for design, and so, in 2013, I took my first step into this world as a Graphic Designer.
For four years, I mastered my spells—playing with typography, colors, and branding – just like a young wizard discovering their first charms and potions.
But as the years passed, I began to realize… there was more to magic than just casting basic spells.

Chapter 2
The Sorting Hat’s Dilemma –
A Need to Evolve
Much like Harry standing before the Sorting Hat, I stood at a crossroad.
I had become proficient in graphic design, but deep inside, I felt the need for something more dynamic, more interactive – something beyond still images.
I wanted to evolve.
I wanted to find my own “Expecto Patronum” – a skill that would not only define me but protect my career from stagnation.
That’s when I discovered UI/UX design. It wasn’t just about making things look good; it was about creating seamless, intuitive experiences that connected humans and technology.
I took a leap of faith and in 2016, I enrolled in MAAC, a well-known design institute. There, I dove into the depths of UX, learning about: Wireframing & Prototyping – The blueprints of digital magic User Research – Understanding user behavior, like reading an ancient spellbook Animations – Bringing interfaces to life, much like the moving portraits at Hogwarts.
But just as Harry had to face the Triwizard Tournament to prove his worth, I, too, needed a defining moment to test my newfound skills.

Chapter 3
The Order of the Phoenix – My Call to Adventure
By the end of 2017, I was ready. MAAC hosted 24FPS, a prestigious national-level design and animation competition – much like the Triwizard Tournament in the Goblet of Fire. Just as Harry was unaware that his name had been placed in the Goblet, my work, too, was unaware of its own calling.
And then, I got nominated among hundreds of designers and became one of India’s top 5 MAAC designers!
This nomination earned me the chance to visit Mumbai for the award ceremony – a moment that felt like stepping into the Great Hall for the Triwizard Tournament.
Unfortunately, I didn’t win the award. But what I gained was far greater, a once-in-a-lifetime experience where I met incredible fellow designers, exchanged ideas, and witnessed the magic of creativity on a grand scale.
This competition became a turning point, proving that my transition from graphic design to UI/UX wasn’t just a whim—it was my destiny.

Chapter 4
Dumbledore’s Army – Entering the UX Battlefield
Armed with my newfound UX skills, I stepped into the real world.
In 2018, I joined Million Sparks, a non-profit organization, where I worked on the ChalkLit Mobile App, creating an intuitive learning experience for educators. This wasn’t just about designing a UI, it was about impacting lives through design.
But the true battles lay ahead.
In 2020, amidst the chaos of COVID, I joined Mount Talent and worked on projects for Pusa Krishi, NMIMS, ICSI, EY, and SIDBI. These weren’t just names, they were stepping stones into a world where design wasn’t just a service, it was a problem-solving tool for real-world issues.
By 2021, my career took a corporate turn as I joined Mindtree, collaborating with global brands like Adidas, P&G, Unilever, and AkzoNobel (Dulux App).
Each project felt like a mission straight out of the Ministry of Magic, requiring strategic thinking, collaboration, and of course, a little bit of design wizardry.

Chapter 5
The Half-Blood Designer – Mastering the Art
As I delved deeper into UX, I realized that great design isn’t just about creativity, it requires strategy, leadership, and research.
That’s why, during Mindtree’s transition to LTIMindtree in 2023, I made a transition of my own—I pursued a Project Management Certification from IIT Delhi. This newfound knowledge became my Elder Wand, empowering me to handle complex projects with confidence and precision.
For the past year, I’ve been working on the Unilever & P&G accounts, managing:
- Power BI Dashboards – Transforming raw data into compelling visual stories.
- Web & Mobile Apps – Designing seamless experiences for a global audience.
- UX Research – Analyzing user behavior to enhance interactions and usability.
But a wizard’s learning never stops. To sharpen my skills further, I earned the Microsoft UX Certificate, Google UX Certificate, and iLead+ Certification, proving that my journey to mastery is ongoing.
And just like Harry’s journey, I know this isn’t the end—only the beginning of a new chapter.

Chapter 6
The Deathly Hallows – The Ultimate Quest
Every wizard seeks the Deathly Hallows—the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone, and the Invisibility Cloak.
For me, these represent:
The Elder Wand – Leading with UX Vision and Strategic Thinking
The Resurrection Stone – Rising from setbacks and evolving stronger
The Invisibility Cloak – Creating seamless and invisible experiences for users
But beyond mastering these elements, my ultimate quest is to bridge the gap between humans and technology. The journey hasn’t been easy, but like any great wizard, I’ve learned:
“It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”
– Albus Dumbledore
And I choose design, growth, and impact.
